Pregnant? Just brought home a newborn? We have resources to get you any support you are looking for during and after your pregnancy whether this is your first baby or your fifth! Every family needs extra support at times.

  • Family Connects

    Receive a visit by a registered nurse in the comfort of your own home during the early weeks of your newborn’s life. Family Connects’ specially trained nurses will provide no-cost health checks for both the infant and birthing parent and connect you to any additional resources.  

    Who is eligible? All parents of newborns living in the City of Spartanburg, Chesnee, or Cowpens, including foster and adoptive parents, regardless of income.

  • BirthMatters

    Get one-on-one emotional and educational support from a doula throughout your pregnancy and delivery. BirthMatters doulas are trained professionals who will empower you on your journey to raising a healthy family.

    Who is eligible? Expectant mothers, 24 years old and younger, who are in their first 24 weeks of pregnancy and eligible for Medicaid.

  • Nurse-Family Partnership

    Receive support from a registered nurse during regular home visits that start early in pregnancy and continue until your child’s second birthday. You can rely on your nurse to be a trusted resource as you navigate all aspects of caring for your child. 

    Who is eligible? Medicaid-eligible mothers who are pregnant with their first child.

  • Text 4 Baby

    Get critical health and safety information related to your pregnancy and baby’s first year of life delivered straight to your phone from Text4baby. You can even set up text-based reminders for upcoming doctor’s appointments. 

    Who is eligible? Expectant parents or parents with children under the age of one.

  • Triple P

    Build your confidence and skills as a parent and help your children realize their potential with Triple P, a positive parenting program. Knowing that there’s no one “right way” to parent, Triple P offers a toolbox of ideas and strategies to choose from, a variety of workshops, and private consultations.  

     

    Who is eligible? All parents and caregivers living in Spartanburg County with children under the age of eight.

    Learn more about your child’s strengths and meeting developmental milestones through Help Me Grow’s quick developmental screening. Free and easy, this screening will give you a snapshot of your child’s growth and development.

  • Imagination Library

    Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth until they begin school in participating areas.

     

     

    Who is eligible? Children birth through four years old in participating locations.

    LENA START is a free 10 week class for families with children from birth to 32 months old with the goal to help parents increase talk and encourage reading with their babies in those early years.
